Nov 23rd Kindness Challenge

Since Jaxon went to Heaven on Nov 25th last year, and since Nov 23rd last
year was our 1st 23rd kindness challenge, we are going to share early
some ideas of how to pay it forward this Nov 23rd in memory of Jaxon to
try and get as many of you involved as possible.

Idea #1: I will be going with our church, Heights Community Church, in the morning on Sat Nov 23rd to distribute coats / jackets / sweaters
and Thanksgiving turkey dinners to those in need.  If you have any
gently used coats / jackets/ sweaters that you’d like to donate for me
to take or if you’d like to join me on Saturday, please message me on
here.

Idea #2: There is a young girl, Jaylie, in Austin that
had Jaxon’s same cancer type and went through treatment around the same
time as him.  Jaylie is hosting a slipper drive for the children that
are cancer patients at Dell Children’s in Austin as well as their
siblings.  Jaxon’s FROG Foundation donated some CDs and toys for them to
give with the slippers last year, and we will be donating to supplement
the slipper drive for Austin kids with cancer again this year.  If you
would like to donate any NEW slippers or NEW toys for us to donate to
brighten Christmas for these children, please message me on here.  If
you’d like to donate specifically for this cause, please donate at http://www.jaxonsfrogfoundation.com/?page_id=23 and put in the “Notes to Seller” box “slippers” or “toys” depending on which you want us to get with your funds.

Idea #3: Operation Christmas Child boxes – this is such an inexpensive
way to make a difference for a child that otherwise might not receive a
Christmas gift.  You can pick up the boxes at Chick-Fil-A at 1604 &
281 any day this week OR find a local church in your area distributing
them.  I remember taking Jaxon to Dollar Tree to stuff these boxes for
others when he was little, and Hallee just went to a Operation Christmas
Child box filling party where she excitedly prepared a box for a child
in need.  You can go to http://www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/ to find the drop off location for boxes closest to you.

There are numerous ways to serve this month, and we thank all of you
that are choosing to make a difference just like Jaxon did.  We’ll be
checking back in on Nov 23rd and look forward to hearing from all of you
on ways you’ve served in memory of Jaxon!
